scotland itinerary PLANNING

You tell me how you travel and what you like, and I will put together a custom Scotland itinerary for you. Armed with local tips and recommendations you can make your trip stand out and fill it with unique experiences. This includes:

  • A 1-on-1 Zoom call to discuss your trip (approx. 60 minutes)
  • A fully customised Scotland itinerary up to 2 weeks
  • One revision of my original concept (I aim to give you a few options)
  • A detailed itinerary PDF guide with links, directions and travel info
  • Email support in the run-up to your trip

Investment: from $550 / £450

If your trip is quite complex (2 weeks+, fast paced, a long-distance hike etc), drop me an email for a custom quote and payment link.

Not only will I plan a custom Scotland itinerary for you – I will also help you to find accommodation along your route.

However, it is important to me that you retain full control of your trip. I am not a travel agent and will not make any bookings on your behalf.

This service includes the same features as “Scotland Itinerary Planning” plus

  • A list of suitable accommodations (3-4 options per stop considering budget, location, amenities and availability)

Investment: from $650 / £540

If your trip is quite complex (2 weeks+, fast paced, a long-distance hike etc), drop me an email for a custom quote and payment link.

Step 1: Book a FREE enquiry call with me to discuss your trip and how I can help.

You can do so here.

Step 2: Choose between the two levels of support – “Itinerary Planning” or “Itinerary Planning + Accommodation Research”.

I need to know in advance how much support you require to allocate the appropriate amount of time in my schedule. It is possible to add accommodation research later in the process, but this is subject to availability.

Step 3: Book a 60-minute Planning Session to discuss your Scotland trip with me at a time that suits you. You will be required to make the payment in full when you book. I will send you the booking link after your enquiry call.

You will be asked to pay in full at the time of booking your Planning Session.

Step 4: You fill in a questionnaire and send me any additional information about your trip.

I will send you a questionnaire with question about your travel style, bucket list etc. and you can send me any additional info about your trip by email.

Step 5: I will create a draft for your itinerary

based on the information you provided. This will usually include multiple options for you to choose from.

Step 6: We meet on Zoom for our Planning Session.

I will present my itinerary suggestions to you and together, we go through the different options to figure out what will work best for you. This call will last 30 to 60 minutes.

Step 6: I will send you the draft and you have time to review it. Take time to review the draft  we settled on carefully and send me a list of amendments, concerns and questions about the route.

My Itinerary Planning service includes one revision of your draft itinerary which means we can still change the direction of your trip.

Although, I have never had a client asking for major changes after one round of revisions, if you feel like the itinerary does still not hit the spot after one round of revisions, I will do my utmost to accommodate a second round of edits – we might also jump on another Zoom call to iron out the details.

Step 7 (only with booked Accommodation Research): Once you are happy with the route and if you have booked Itinerary Planning + Accommodation Research, I will research suitable options for places to stay once we have agreed on your itinerary. I aim to provide 3-4 different options per location, subject to availability.

Step 8: Once my research is complete, I will send you a detailed Scotland Itinerary PDF guide with links and travel information for your trip. If you booked Accommodation Research, you will also receive the list of suggestions for places to stay on your route.

After you have received and reviewed your Scotland Itinerary PDF guide, you can send me further practical questions about your trip via email and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you have any questions before booking my services, drop me a line at support@watchmesee.com.

Scotland Itinerary Planning and Accommodation Research does not include any booking services. I am not acting as a travel agent and I will not make any bookings on your behalf. However, I will provide you with links to all the accommodation, tours and services I recommend.

I do not provide assistance in researching flights or travel to the UK, information about visa requirements, or advice on travel insurance (other than, “please get some”).

Please note, that I am not available for assistance during your trip or in case of emergencies. If you contact me during your trip to ask quick questions about your route or recommendations, I aim to get to you as quickly as possible, but I cannot guarantee I will be able to provide short-notice advice.

Payment Terms:

Payment for Scotland Itinerary Planning and Scotland Itinerary Planning + Accommodation Research is required in full in advance of the service being provided.

Refund Policy:

Please note, that I do not offer refunds.

If you are unsure whether I am the right travel planner for you, I am happy to discuss the key elements of your trip before you book my service. You can spend some time getting to know me by following me on social media, watching my videos and reading my blog posts.

From experience I can say that I have never had an itinerary client who was dissatisfied with my customised itinerary for them – I always aim to tweak and amend the route to make sure it’s right for you!

In the unlikely case that I have to cancel your booking due to a personal emergency, I will offer you a full refund.

Data & Privacy:

The data you provide to Watch Me See will be used to create your customised Scotland itinerary. I will keep this information on file until after your trip – in case any additional questions come up, it might be useful.

After your trip, I would like to contact you via email to ask for your feedback and hear how your trip went. If you would not like me to contact you after having sent you the final travel pack, please let me know.

I will not store your information beyond this point.

Don’t just take my word for it:

Hiring Kathi to do an itinerary overview for our upcoming trip to Scotland was the best money we ever spent. She made wonderful suggestions about our plans and promptly responded to every email (and there were a lot!) I sent her. We believe she went above and beyond in the services she provided to us and we have no doubt that our trip of a lifetime will be better because of her input.

I am grateful to have found Kathi and her web site Watchmesee! She provides vast amounts of helpful information about traveling in Scotland. She reviewed my itinerary and made helpful recommendations of things to do and see in each location I planned to visit. I was most concerned about making my travel plans since I intended to use only public transportation and my own 2 feet! She provided specific websites and instructions for trains and buses down to the # of the bus to take! It was seamless and removed all the stress of getting to my destinations! I highly recommend her, her services and her informative blog! Be sure to check out her web site before you travel to Scotland! You will be glad you did!!

My husband, daughter and myself just returned from a magical trip to Scotland. Kathi helped us plan the perfect Holiday and all her recommendations were spot on. We saw things we didn’t know we wanted to see. Since it was a driving vacation, we really appreciated the daily structure including driving instructions. I would highly recommend Kathi for planning your perfect trip!

My wife and myself have just returned from two weeks in the Hebrides and our trip was awesome thanks to Kathi’s blog! It really helped us to choose where we wanted to go and how long to spend in each place. Kathi has a wealth of knowledge that she so kindly shares with us all so we can have as much love for Scotland as she does ❤️❤️❤️

I’m so glad that I used your trip planning service for my family’s trip to Scotland. You did a great job listening to the desires and needs of my family, and our trip went flawlessly with the right amount of time in each location, and your recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants were spot-on. We also appreciated the links to your blog posts embedded within the travel pack, so we were well prepared. This was money well spent and I’d do it again. Thank you so much!

Kathy has a deep knowledge of the whole Scotland, she probably know all the puffins and coos by their nickname. She planned a family trip for us this year and it was outstanding. She can listen and understand what you want during your vacation and can direct you accordingly.
