OPTIONAL ADD-ON: ACCOMMODATION RESEARCH
Not only will I plan a custom Scotland itinerary for you – I will also help you to find accommodation along your route.
However, it is important to me that you retain full control of your trip. I am not a travel agent and I will not make any bookings on your behalf.
This is an optional add-on service that can be added to my “Itinerary Planning” service. In addition to you bespoke itinerary, you will get a list of suitable accommodations (3-4 options per stop considering budget, location, amenities and availability).
This service is particularly recommended for fairly last-minute trips to ensure accommodation is available and matching the suggested bespoke itinerary.
Please note that concrete travel dates are required in order to accurately research available places to stay and rates.
Investment: from USD $100 (in addition to the “Itinerary Planning” fee)
Must be booked in combination with “Itinerary Planning” service

Step 1: Book a FREE enquiry call with me to discuss your trip and how I can help.
You can do so here. We will discuss your ambitions for this trip, what you’d like to see and experience, how much time you have and anything else I need to know before I can create a bespoke itinerary for you.
I will explain my different levels of support to you (“Itinerary Planning” or “Itinerary Planning + Accommodation Research”) and guide you towards the most suitable option. I will send you the correct link to book your session.
Step 2: Book a 60-minute Planning Session with me at a time that suits you. Payment is taken in full during the booking process.
Before we meet, I may have follow up questions (by email) to ensure that I can fully tailor the bespoke itinerary to your interests and needs.
The Planning Session is where I will present my bespoke itinerary draft to you. Often it will contain multiple options and if you’ve picked my assistance with accommodation research, I often start looking for suitable places to stay alongside planning different route options.
This call usually lasts 60 minutes, but sometimes we run over a little.
Step 4: I will send you the draft and you have time to review it. After our call, I will give you time to review my suggestions. Take time to review the draft we settled on carefully and send me a list of amendments, concerns and questions about the route.
My Itinerary Planning service includes one revision of your draft itinerary which means we can still change the direction of your trip.
Although, I have never had a client asking for major changes after one round of revisions, if you feel like the itinerary does still not hit the spot after one round of revisions, I will do my utmost to accommodate a second round of edits – we might also jump on another Zoom call to iron out the details.
Step 5 (only with booked Accommodation Research): Once you are happy with the route and if you have booked Itinerary Planning + Accommodation Research, I will research suitable options for places to stay once we have agreed on your itinerary. I aim to provide 3-4 different options per location, subject to availability. This step is often integrated into Step 3 and 4.
Step 8: Once all my research for your itineary is complete, I will send you a detailed Scotland Travel Pack (PDF) with links and travel information for your trip. If you booked Accommodation Research, you will also receive the list of suggestions for places to stay on your route.
After you have received and reviewed your Scotland Itinerary PDF guide, you can send me further practical questions about your trip via email and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you have any questions before booking my services, drop me a line at support@watchmesee.com.
Watch Me See is not a travel agency. As such, I do not make any bookings on your behalf. However, I will provide you with links to all the accommodation, tours and services I recommend.
I do not provide assistance in researching flights or travel to the UK, information about visa requirements, or advice on travel insurance (other than, “please get some”).
Please note, that I am not available for assistance during your trip or in case of emergencies. If you contact me during your trip to ask quick questions about your route or recommendations, I aim to get to you as quickly as possible, but I cannot guarantee I will be able to provide short-notice advice.

Don’t just take my word for it:
Hiring Kathi to do an itinerary overview for our upcoming trip to Scotland was the best money we ever spent. She made wonderful suggestions about our plans and promptly responded to every email (and there were a lot!) I sent her. We believe she went above and beyond in the services she provided to us and we have no doubt that our trip of a lifetime will be better because of her input.
I am grateful to have found Kathi and her web site Watchmesee! She provides vast amounts of helpful information about traveling in Scotland. She reviewed my itinerary and made helpful recommendations of things to do and see in each location I planned to visit. I was most concerned about making my travel plans since I intended to use only public transportation and my own 2 feet! She provided specific websites and instructions for trains and buses down to the # of the bus to take! It was seamless and removed all the stress of getting to my destinations! I highly recommend her, her services and her informative blog! Be sure to check out her web site before you travel to Scotland! You will be glad you did!!
My husband, daughter and myself just returned from a magical trip to Scotland. Kathi helped us plan the perfect Holiday and all her recommendations were spot on. We saw things we didn’t know we wanted to see. Since it was a driving vacation, we really appreciated the daily structure including driving instructions. I would highly recommend Kathi for planning your perfect trip!
My wife and myself have just returned from two weeks in the Hebrides and our trip was awesome thanks to Kathi’s blog! It really helped us to choose where we wanted to go and how long to spend in each place. Kathi has a wealth of knowledge that she so kindly shares with us all so we can have as much love for Scotland as she does ❤️❤️❤️
I’m so glad that I used your trip planning service for my family’s trip to Scotland. You did a great job listening to the desires and needs of my family, and our trip went flawlessly with the right amount of time in each location, and your recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants were spot-on. We also appreciated the links to your blog posts embedded within the travel pack, so we were well prepared. This was money well spent and I’d do it again. Thank you so much!
Kathy has a deep knowledge of the whole Scotland, she probably know all the puffins and coos by their nickname. She planned a family trip for us this year and it was outstanding. She can listen and understand what you want during your vacation and can direct you accordingly.
